Need a place to send students when they are done working? What better than to have kids practice their keyboarding. Here are some excellent finds!
1. Keybr.com Click there and it starts showing text for you to type. Click-clack away, when you get to the end of a line, it’ll bring up new text. It shows your speed and accuracy (and provides a chart comparing the two), and when you’re ready you can move on to other lessons which feature other keys.
2. Touch Typing free program that lets you exercise and learn touch typing.
3. Dance Mat Typing 12 stages for you to learn typing!
4. Typeracer This allows you to practice typing and race other “cars” while you increase your words per minute.
